Who is Waypoint?

We're a gathering of people from all over Austin who have one thing in common: we follow Jesus Christ as our example and treasure His word, the Bible, above all else.

We're moving forward into a fresh season as a church with a rich history and a new vision, working together for the glory of God to influence our communities. We believe when our priorities are straight (loving God with our whole hearts and others above ourselves) the world changes for the better.

In that spirit, it's our goal to make the message of the life and teachings of Jesus known to everyone, everywhere. Freedom, restoration, and healing aren't reserved for a select few—they're available to all who build their lives on the redemptive message of God's salvation through His Son, Jesus. The message that says no matter who you are, no matter what you've done, God has a plan for your life, and it starts in community with other Christ-followers.
